Laszlo Retfalvi
Director of Public Relations

Laszlo offers more than two decades of accomplishment-laden experience in the project management field. A leader focused on business success, customer satisfaction, creativity and innovation, Laszlo has a proven ability to motivate people to meet challenging objectives. Tasked with providing leadership through startup, growth, and turnaround situations, Laszlo has repeatedly shown his ability to deliver strong and sustained results.

 

Laszlo is currently General Manager of Retfalvi and Associates, an Ottawa Canada based firm providing project management and risk management consulting solutions.

 

Laszlo has held a number of senior positions at General Dynamics Canada in Calgary and Ottawa, a division of General Dynamics Corporation. Previously, Laszlo was with the Irving Group of Companies in Saint John, New Brunswick and SED Systems in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

 

Laszlo earned his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick in 1984.

 

Laszlo is currently Director of Public Relations of the PMI Ottawa Valley Outaouais Chapter (OVOC) and Director of Public Relations of the PMI Global RiskSIG. Combined these organizations represent over 4200 dedicated project and risk management members.

 

Laszlo is also a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) Professional Standards Committee. With over 72000 licensed professional engineers in Ontario, the PEO’s statutory mandate is to serve and protect the public interest where engineering is concerned.

 

Laszlo has been happily married to Lisa for over 25 years and they have two great sons, Andrew and Alexander.
